In any intro to women's studies class, one will encounter the word berdache, which is a whitey term for a Native American person who has both "male" and "female" characteristics. This person is deemed very valuable and special. Perhaps this type of person belongs in the Tammy and Mandy dichotomy, with a few alterations:

I believe in many modern Western cultures this position is often signified by the Berdache wearing dyed hair in two tones.
