Before doing research on the school crossing guard, I assumed I would find a good portion of them to be Mandys, being that Mandys enjoy children and go to great lengths to protect them, especially their own.
It turns out that assuming all female crossing guards look like this:

It seems to be that Tammys have a stranglehold over the crossing guard profession:

there's something about the power of being able to stop traffic by just wearing a florescent vest and holding a wooden stop sign that must be very appealing to Tammys. Maybe Mandys just don't find that as fufilling...
botics, i agree. I think that the vest in particular particular really accords nicely with tammy's fashion sensibilities. and the stop sign is like a tattoo you can hold in the air.
hi, sissy! yes, and i think that holding something (the stop sign) helps tammys get through a couple of hours without a beer or a cigarette in hand.
